These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.residence.international (the "Website") and any purchases made through our online store. By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our Website.

1. About Residence

Residence is an Irish luxury interiors and homeware retailer, carefully curating furniture, lighting, home décor and lifestyle pieces from leading designers and makers.

Throughout these Terms, "Residence", "we", "our" and "us" refer to Residence.

2. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure that all product descriptions, photography, dimensions and pricing are accurate.

Many of our products are handcrafted or made from natural materials. As a result, slight variations in colour, finish, texture and dimensions are to be expected and form part of the unique character of each item.

Product photography is provided for illustrative purposes only. Colours may vary depending on your screen or device settings.

All products are subject to availability.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on the Website are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without prior notice. However, any confirmed order will not be affected by subsequent price changes.

Should an obvious pricing error occur, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Orders & Payment

Orders placed through our Website are subject to acceptance and availability.

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This does not constitute acceptance of your order.

A contract is formed only when your order has been accepted and dispatched.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify and our authorised payment providers. Residence does not store your payment card details.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud or stock availability issues.

5. Delivery

Delivery charges are calculated during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and cannot be guaranteed.

Residence shall not be liable for delays caused by manufacturers, courier companies, customs, weather conditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where products are made to order or have extended lead times, these will be communicated before your order is confirmed.

6. Returns & Refunds

We hope you love every piece you purchase from Residence. However, if you change your mind, eligible accessories may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition.
  • Be returned in their original packaging.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Unless an item is faulty or supplied incorrectly, the cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within approximately 10 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival:

  • Furniture.
  • Made-to-order or bespoke products.
  • Customised or personalised items.
  • Fabric sold by the metre.
  • Gift cards.
  • Clearance or final sale items where stated.

8. Damaged or Faulty Goods

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged or you believe it has a manufacturing fault, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@residence.international, including your order number and photographs where possible.

Where appropriate, we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

9. Bespoke & Made-to-Order Products

Bespoke and made-to-order products are manufactured specifically to your requirements.

Once production has commenced, these orders cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded unless the item is faulty.

Where a deposit is required, it is non-refundable once production has begun.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, photography, graphics, branding, logos, product selections and design, is the property of Residence or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without our prior written permission.

11. Website Availability

We aim to keep our Website available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and reserve the right to suspend, withdraw or amend any part of the Website without notice for maintenance, updates or operational reasons.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Residence shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this Website or from the purchase of products, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Privacy

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
